Minecraft Tutorial: Crafting a Workbench & Furnace

Welcome to our first tutorial in the Computer Night series! One of our group members had trouble crafting a workbench and furnace in Minecraft, so we (me and ChatGPT)  put together this quick and easy guide to help out.

In the video, we demonstrate step-by-step how to craft a workbench, and then use it to build a furnace. These essential items will make your survival journey much smoother!

If you prefer reading instructions, here’s a simple breakdown:

1. Crafting a Workbench 🛠️

  • Gather 4 Wooden Planks (obtained from logs in your inventory crafting grid).

  • Open your crafting menu.

  • Arrange the 4 Wooden Planks in a 2×2 square.

  • Collect your Workbench and place it in the world!

2. Crafting a Furnace 🔥

  • Mine 8 Cobblestones using a wooden or better pickaxe.

  • Open your crafting menu.

  • Arrange 8 Cobblestones in a square formation, leaving the center slot empty.

  • Collect your Furnace and place it where needed!
